Youtube Videos embedded code not working

  Youtube videos are not embedding and showing up in my posts as of yesterday! My entire blog is built on featuring youtube videos and I’ve never had any issue with cutting/pasting the embedded code and it functioning seamlessly. Please help me figure out why the links to youtube videos aren’t embedding ???!!!! I need help asap.

  Now, when I go to both links, I see your YouTube links are working. Would you take a look and confirm for me if the issue is resolved for you? You may need to clear your browser cache to see the updated site:

  I have been using youtube embedded iframe links for over a year now without any issues. I do know that most iframe embedded codes are not compatible but with youtube, the issue of using the links they provide have always functioned without a problem. Usually I put the embedded code they proved, ie:

  <iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/xBMTullvZFE?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

  When I publish, wordpress automatically converts it to the following and all functions work properly. Instead of wordpress auto correcting these links for functionality, I am having to do it manually which is why you see it working now. Here is what I have to change it to, ie:

  [youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xBMTullvZFE?rel=0&w=640&h=480]

  Why isn’t wordpress auto correcting anymore and when will it be fixed?

  Thank you for reporting this!

  We researched it and found that YouTube changed the format of their embed code, so we updated WordPress.com to work with the new formatting.

  Can you please try embedding a YouTube video again? An iframe embed code should get converted into a shortcode now, just like it used to.
