YouTube Widget

    What happened to the YouTube widget on the Adelle theme? I have used it for other blogs in the past, but for some reason when I customize this site, marinahassap.wordpress.com , I don’t see the option for the YouTube widget under widgets. Please don’t tell me it disappeared or that wordpress no longer has a partnership with YouTube…???

    To the best of my knowledge, there never has been a specific YouTube widget available for sites hosted on WordPressdotcom and I’ve been here 9 years.

    To accomplish this you can use a text widget and the youtube embed shortcode as described in this Support doc: https://en.support.wordpress.com/videos/youtube/
