Zapier task publishing posts but email notifications don’t work

Hello,
I’m using Zapier to catch webhooks from a third party service that are sent as “alerts”. These alerts get published to my site as a post with the raw webhook message inside. That works just fine and everything ends up looking nice BUT,
Every notification plug-in I seem to use does not recognize the post and therefore never emails people about it. This is not good at all. Moreover, if I revert the post to draft and then publish, of course at that point the plug-in sees that and then emails but obviously I can’t revert every alert as some come in at all hours of the day.
Have any of you resolved this issue before while using zapier or something comparable? Any suggestions of a workaround?

Hello, I’m sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your website. However, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
