Zbench and menu and widget problems

For whatever reason I’m having lots of problems with this new theme. I feel like I’m pretty good at changing themes but this one has been totally different. First when I went to change it I got a message saying something like “not activated” or something like that. After a few times of trying it finally worked.
Now that I got it to work I have problems with both the menu and the widgets.
Menu problem = I can’t get every single page I’ve ever written off the top of my site. I cleared out my prior custom menu’s and even created a new one. For whatever reason the changes aren’t accepted.
Widget problem = Only the footer widgets are working. I selected through the theme options every different layout of this theme and it doesn’t seem to work.

Never mind, I seemed to have solved it or played around with it enough. I swear I spent a good amount of time playing around with it first before I posted. The answer was changing the theme location from the blank to primary. Then the widget problem seemed to fix itself also.

The widget problem would have been caused by your menu items pushing the sidebar down the page.
