The only way to change your theme on a WordPress.COM blog is to go to Appearance>Themes on your dashboard. You can search for “Zemanta” and then click activate.
WordPress.COM blogs are not able to download and install any new themes. (http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/)
If you are trying to get support for a self-hosted site rather than http://the5krunner.com you should post your request on the support forum at wordpress.org: http://wordpress.org/support.

We can’t help you with Zemanta issues. Zemanta support is great, but it’s available on their website, not here since WP and Zemanta went their separate ways a few months ago. You install it as a browser add-on now, not integrated into your dashboard.

And, I was very obviously a very bad reader here. Had a theme on my brain and replaced one z word for another. Sorry to be confusing.

check before you assume it’s a wordpress.org
when you have paid for domain mapping of the5krunner.wordpress.com to the5krunner.com then it is mildly annoying.

it is possible to get an old version of zemanta and install it on win7 and it DOES work in the wordpress dashboard with ie11. for some reason it does not work on win8 with the same ie11
