Zemanta photos affecting blog layout
-
I tried one of the Zemanta-suggested photos for my May 4 post and that post displayed fine but the comment box and all posts below it on the screen went wide enough to be obscured by my right-hand sidebar. The help article about rogue html code suggested changing settings>reading to show one post per page, to find the trouble. Everything displayed fine when it was once per page. The html view in the post edit pane showed none of the <div> code issues. I deleted the html for the Zemanta photo and, everything is fine. Too bad, because I liked this new feature.
If it matters, the particular photo code is this:
I’m practically code-illiterate, but it looks okay to me. But now that I’ve deleted it, my blog looks okay too.
Thank you so much to the whole WordPress team. You guys rock.

Hm, I don’t see how that could have messed things up.
If it happens again, would you please leave it as is so we can take a closer look.
There might be something we can do, if not, you’ll have to bug Zemanta since we don’t have complete control over what they insert.

This is embarrassing. I put the code back in and everything’s still good. But I had two different readers tell me about the problem, and I saw it myself. If I can duplicate it later I’ll let you know.
