Zemanta plugin is missing

  Zemanta is not working in my editor. I have followed the suggestions to clear browser cache, restart browser. It has worked for 80 straight days in Google Chrome 15.0.874.120 m on Windows 7.

  Just for fun, I tried IE8 (which I never use) and same situation – the Zemanta plugin does not appear when I edit a post.

  Zemanta started running a rather invasive survey on the post writing/editing screen, so we have disabled it until they can tone it down or remove it completely.

  Hi Macmanx,

  Thanks for the reply. I appreciate your attempt to protect me from the evils of providing user feedback :)

  I personally did not find the survey intrusive. Perhaps we can have a choice in the future?

  Other questions:
  When will it be enabled?
  Why didn’t WP notify its users of this action?
  Why did WP decide on my behalf whether something is intrusive?

  I may be in the minority opinion.

  It was more of a violation of our agreement with them. I can’t say when it will be back, but we’re working with them on it.

  Fair enough. I guess I’ll use the Zemanta chrome plug-in for now.
