Zemanta Repeatedly Shows the Same Posts
-
Hello,
I started using Zemanta to link to my own blog posts at the end of each post. I noticed that it seems to keep showing the same posts. Is there a way to “mix it up” so I can expose all of my content equally?
ThanksThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Zementa works by pulling in content related to the words you use in your post. If you use the same words, the same posts may appear.
There is an explanation on how to adjust this in this forum topic. Personally, I manually add related posts to my own content, giving me more control over what appears there. I also recommend you link to related content within your posts rather than just a list at the bottom. Both ways work, which is nice as there are many ways to do the same thing on the web.

Thanks so much, Lorelle. Since all of my posts are about duct tape crafts, I think they all use similar words, although I did notice that Zemanta always suggests my most recent posts. I guess I’ll just paste everything in manually.

I’ve done it manually for ten years. There are fast and easy ways to create those lists. Consider using Firefox and the CoLT extension to create fast HTML links to paste in via the Text Editor in WordPress. I use it hundreds of times (thousands it feels like some days LOL!) to create my posts in WordPress. Good luck with it.
