@greetingsfromindia, no, actually I said that. Just trying to clear things up, not trying to brag. :)

I think the following two sentences should be cut up in to multiple sentences. The sentiment sounds good, but i’d separate some of the thoughts:
Nature is part of our everyday life but taking the time to stop and really see it is when you will appreciate its beauty.
Nothing is safe around me and my camera from birds, to bears, to beetles and babies, I capture it all.
There is a space in between the semicolon and the first part of the sentence here as well:
Photography is a part of my soul ; it is a reflection of who I am, and it defines me.
That’s my two cents :)

@michelleweber A”skootch” darker it is. What do you think? BTW how do you measure a skootch? Is it equivalent to two skotches or half a skoot?
-
@prisailurophileblog, I love the Belle picture! But could you tell more about yourself? There are only five sentences. You can still be witty. Anyone can.
-
@michelleweber thanks for checking on it! I’m pretty sure I’m doing it right, but I’m new to blogging, so I’m sure there’s user error in her somewhere :)

@prisailurophileblog, I love the Belle picture and the sick satisfaction sentence! But there are only five sentences; could you tell us more about yourself? You can still be witty. Anyone can.
I also like how the About page flows. -
@michelleweber. UPDATE: It will let me do it with categories, but for some reason “tag” is not working. I will proceed with the category approach for now, but would still appreciate follow up from @ rootjosh if there is anything I might be missing.
Thanks again for all of your help!!!

Can you show me where you are trying to use that shortcode? You can keep the post or page as a draft if you like, I’ll still be able to troubleshoot it.

This is exactly the motivation I needed to tidy up all of my pages. It’s been long overdue, so I welcome the tips and advice, and am feeling inspired by all the other bloggers here :)
-
Holy cow! It took me forever to figure out how to add the menu to my blog – but it is finally there – an “About Me” page!
-
I’ve been looking forward to this day! I’ve been thinking that my about page needed an update. It was very bland and “here’s some information” without any funny (well… I tried to be funny).
I totally re-wrote it and would LOVE someone’s opinion. I tried to incorporate the 101 & 102 tips while I was writing. This is one of those pages that I go back and rewrite every so often. I guess my question is whether or not you get a taste of my writing style, what the blog is about, a bit about who I am… is it funny? I’m so not funny, but I try to be.
Anyway, this is where you can find my about page: http://jillianmartin.wordpress.com/about/

Am really excited about this whole Zero to Hero fun!
I was already o.k. with my About Me page, so I decided to create another just for fun page. Small problem that I see, and maybe it’s because of my theme, the only way back to my Home page is to click the back button. Should “Home” show up as a link from my two secondary pages?
Thanks
Sheryl -
@jillianmartin
Your About Me page is so welcoming! I wouldn’t say it’s laugh out loud funny, but I smiled as I read it. It definitely gives insight into who you are and what you’re blogging about. I’m a new follower :-)
