Zero to Hero: Day One
-
NOTE: Zero to Hero forum threads will close after five days. If you’re just starting out, welcome! Feel free to visit a more recent thread to say hello, ask questions, or seek feedback. Happy blogging!
Welcome, Zero to Hero bloggers!
We hope you’re as excited as we are about this challenge — we can’t wait to see how your blogs develop as you delve into blogging and start building relationships with one another.
It’s day one, and you’re writing an introductory post. Full details of the day’s task are here.
Use this space as a place to ask questions and seek feedback from your fellow bloggers, or just to talk about blogging, why you’re here, and how your month is going.
Are you ready to blog? We’re ready to read!
-
Are we suppose to do this introduction blog even if our blogs have been up for awhile and we already did that when starting out?
-
I already wrote an introductory post! Quite excited about that, seeing that I’m kind of already on the right track. Booyah.
Check me out if you’d like! http://samanthalynnk.wordpress.com

Yup, you should write it no matter how new — or not — your blog is. If you’ve been blogging for a while, use it as an opportunity to revisit your original intro post, or to re-focus your site if it’s changed since you first started.
I’ve updated the post to be explicit about this — thanks for the feedback!

Hello everyone!!! My name is Nicole. Here is my post for Day 1 or the Zero to Hero challenge. I wish everyone good luck and it’s nice to meet everyone. :-)

This is a challenge any blogger here can accept. I have a brand new and completely empty blog I have been planning to develop for a year http://timelesstopics.wordpress.com and now is the time to go for it, so I accepted the challenge. I’ll publish my introductory post later today.

Challenge accepted! Good luck everyone! -
Hi, everyone! I’ve had a blog for some years, so mine focused more on my blogging history versus an introduction. Here it is: http://nextpagenewchapter.com/2014/01/02/who-am-i-and-why-i-post-day-1-of-the-zero-to-hero-challenge/

Hey, all! I have been blogging for almost 3 years but very inconsistently. I tend to go super crazy with posts instead of timing them and scheduling posts… I posted three times yesterday :( So, I hope this challenge helps me to work on post ideas, scheduling, and consistency.
I will be working on my intro post in the next hour, but go ahead and check out what I’ve been doing until then… if you’d like :)
-
Just a reminder to everyone — if you’d like, add the tag zerotohero to your posts. That way, it’s easy for us to find (and support!) one another.
(Not sure how to add a tag? Here you go!)

So here goes …..!

I’m looking forward to taking part in this challenge! Its kind of like NaNoWriMo – but without the word limit. Although maybe that’ll be one of the challenges …!

Looking forward to being part of a community of bloggers and taking part in this challenge to see where it can take me!

It’s the simple prompts that are the hardest (as in, most existential), right? Or maybe I’m overthinking “who I am and why I’m here”?
Either way, thanks for the inspiration!

How fun! This falls right in line with my promise to myself to stop neglecting my blog this year. :)
I look forward to reading you all!

Great idea for a start, it took me ages to even get round to writing an “About Me” page.
After writing my post (http://geekergosum.com/2014/01/02/who-am-i/) I realised that even though I’ve been going three years I’m always getting new followers who may not have any idea who I am or what my blog is about.
Looking forward to tomorrow’s task.
