@timethief, I know the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org, what both can offer. But since @riktukt was posting to the forum thread on WordPress.com, I got confused.

I actually did this on two of my blogs yesterday and was pleased as punch. Then, when I read today’s challenge, I decided to follow throw and do it for the third as well. I’m really happy with the change of adding a logo, and think this is a really great challenge.
The only down side: my logos that I uploaded into the header, look great on my laptop, but they don’t look so good on mobile. Any suggestions on how to fix that? Did I do something wrong? Is there a better way?

@sylviacole, could you be more specific? Are the logos scattered around in an unusual place when seen on mobile?

I have a thin line around my header. I’m using the Forever theme. Does anyone know how to remove that line? I’ve been able to do it on images in the sidebar and posts, but that’s where my ability ends. You can click on my name to see my blog if that is helpful for you.

You cannot remove it without purchasing the annually renewable custom and doing CSS editing:

I spent more time on this assignment than on any of the others. Unfortunately, the results aren’t great. But I completed the task. I looked around at lots of sites for images and ended using one of my own, which I cropped.
I’m not thrilled with the quality of the results but I was determined to complete it, so I am accepting progress over perfection. When I am able, I will go back and clean up the image and work on the title text (it is somewhat difficult to see against the image). And really, that’s why I joined this challenge… to become a little better everyday. Now, off to read some blogs!

Actually, I just checked the link that TimeThief had posted a day or so ago for checking mobile, and two look ok now. So I think perhaps I fixed them. But the the one on my butterfly blog, is still wonkie. Perhaps it is something with the Gridspace theme?

Your theme is a premium theme and you are entitled to get support for it in the Premium Themes Forum.

I’m not sure if I like the original header better than the one I just posted.. I think I’ll be a bit more creative over the weekend and make something else.. -
I have a question about lingo. I tried searching with “thingy” but didn’t get far. :-)
I just changed my wallpaper. The thing over the wallpaper is a . . . ? You see, this wallpaper is of a tree which I would like to show but the column thingy is kind of in the way. If I enlarge the text part of the blog, the background disappears. If I expand the browser window, the wallpaper gets wider.
Do we have control over our page opens on another persons computer?
Does our page look more or less the same on all the major browsers?
I think what I’m trying to do is make that middle floating bit a consistent size so I can show what I want to show in the background.

I’m using the animation Swinging-atwoods-machine from Wikimedia Commons https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Animations_on_white_background but can’t see where to find the info I need to cite. I have read the licensing stuff but am too confused as to where this one fits. Can a kind person please help?
