After several attempts today, I finally got a photo up. I typically post photos on my blog entries so couldn’t figure out what the problem was. Sure do enjoy these challenges!

I tried something new and I put a YouTube video in my post for today’s challenge. I actually did it right the first time. I was nervous because I wasn’t sure if it was going to work properly. I chose a song that I like and have never shared with anyone before. It’s kind of cheesy but I’m proud that I accomplished today’s task. If you want to hear the song I chose, check it out. Many of you will probably not like the music, it’s the lyrics I like mostly.

I went ahead and embedded one of my pins from pinterest. I was hoping to do a more creative story with embedded tweets, but not enough time today! I’ll keep the idea in the queue for later…Here’s today’s post!

I have learned a lot today already but the most important thing for me is that I can’t edit MP4 material with the programs I have so no video in my post even after several hours but at least I have a link to the one I wanted. My post is here http://wp.me/p4d8rD-z

I have been blogging for a few months now and have a fairly good handle on imbedding photos. Still I wanted to try something new. I decided to reblog one of my earliest posts that very much fit my day. I decided to add a personal picture and begin it with a connection to this particular day. It seems to be gathering a bit of new attention. Would love feedback on the piece and any further ideas on reblogging posts.

Really liked today’s challenge task – at first, I wasn’t sure what I might include, since I already use an image in each post and I wasn’t sure I could come up with another type of element. But, thanks to the challenge of using something new and the support links from WordPress, I shared my most recent TED talk! Super-easy, super-cool. :D

I like to use media two ways in my blog; 1. To help with a point or with a visual image, or 2. To tell the story through a photo essay.
I have also found that it is best to preview your post to make sure the media is where you want it. Sometimes I end up moving a picture and re-sizing it 4 or 5 times before I’m happy.
