Zero to Hero: Day Three

I really liked this challenge. It took me awhile of reflecting to really get me back to the place where I started my blog. There were lots of reasons, but after weeding through them I was able to really pinpoint why I started blogging, and why I continue blogging as well.
Here is the link if anyone is interested. I enjoy coming to the forums and seeing all the other blogs and reading about their journeys through these challenges.

I started this blog because I wanted to share my experiences. Therefore I named it myriad notions so that it represents my countless thoughts. http://sanchitahobby.wordpress.com/2014/01/04/day-3-whats-on-your-mind/
Zerotohero challenge is really helping me to make it better. All the best to everyone participating.

Day 3 done! Revisiting my first blog post reminded me (like the task said it would) why I set up a blog, and I love that my purpose hasn’t actually changed, so I reblogged and commented on it. Feel free to have a look here – all thoughts are welcome!
P.S. I solemnly promise not to make my entire comment a link again.

I like to read the prompt then do something else for a while, to let it percolate. This one percolated while I scrubbed the kitchen sink with comet.
While scrubbing I reazlied wanted to try and connect with others, I realized, not just go down my own rabbit hole.
Wait, what?

I actually had my first blog post, so I posted my own pingback so people could read it, and then explained it. It look me a lot longer than I thought, and it was nice being able to look back and see how much I had grown as a person. I hope you all like it!

For years I had wanted to write, but I could never work out what about. For about 3 years this post was on the tip of my tongue. It became so pressing to talk about it with others, that after years of worrying what other people would think, I just wrote it and hit publish. It’s not great writing, but it got the ball rolling.
For any of you who are just starting out and are nervous to publish, I can only say how generous and supportive I have found the blogging community so far – so go for it. Also, it has taken me quite a while for readers to find me, giving plenty of time for the odd tweak and delete here and there. Good luck

Anyone want to check out my blog and give me some pointers. I’m always in need of some feedback. The Good, Bad and even the ugly are always welcome.

Woohoo! This actually tied in perfectly with the Daily Post topic. I started my blog nearly a year ago, because I stepped beyond the pale, so both topics combined beautifully. Hope you enjoy and leave me some feedback.

This has been very helpful so far, I can’t wait to see what’s coming up. However, I’am confused about the ping back. And where to link up and read other peolpe’s blogs. like we on the DP challenges

@blockader, then it’s working! Glad to hear it :)
@cteavin, there’s a Daily Post piece on white space you might want to check out. I think it’ll help: http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/05/08/white-space/
@leahwordtrips, you can check out the “zerotohero” topic in the Reader to see other participants’ posts: http://en.wordpress.com/tag/zerotohero/

This was a hard one for me because my blog is about my daily struggle with mental health issues. I have always just wanted to sit down and write something out about how it feels to have a mental illness without the perfectionist in me editing everything as I go along. So I just sat down and typed it out without stopping. It may not make sense and I go off on some pretty strange tangents, but I finished it with very little editing.
Hope you like it! Comments are always welcome!
I just want to be like everyone else but I’m not – I am mentally ill

This challenge has me reaching into all corners of my mind. Luckily I just started a new blog for the new year so the reasons behind what was on my mind at the time are still fresh.

I gave it great thought I figured this was the time to share my story with you and the reason I started blogging here a link to my story and the reason behind me http://bit.ly/1iDlyxe
