    @Noleksiak089

    Lovely description of your shared history, but I can’t see any of the photos. They all display as an empty icon! Might just be my computer though….

    I very much like pictures, too. And I think I will have the same “problem” when traveling and willing to show as many as photo as possible.
    However, I would have more enjoyed your photos that you put in collage if they had been full screen. The collage of the pictures or the different yarns, it’s a different way on looking at the picture. So probably one photo would be “more” when standing alone and not in a collage.

    @leahj, we’re definitely working on more ways to support you. There won’t be another challenge immediately, but there will definitely be more opportunities — keep an eye on The Daily Post.

    @kmswarbs, are you writing your poems in the visual editor? If so, switching to the text editor and learning some formatting basics will make a big difference, especially learning to use the <preformatting> tag. Here’re the details on formatting for poetry:

    @ima9arium, you can play with all the free themes even without an upgrade — anyone can. As for your other questions, there are lots of themes that could work, and you can make lovely galleries right in WordPress.com. Here are a few resources that might help:

    Let’s Talk About Themes, Shall We?

    @annainternational, you might want to try using tiled galleries, rather than collages made in PicMonkey — you can make the gallery right in WordPress, and then readers have the option of clicking to see a full-size photo: http://en.support.wordpress.com/images/gallery/

    The only assignment I have not done so far is Day 25, mainly because I am not good at techy stuff and worry I am going to completely mess up my blog lol. Also I think it is going to be really really time consuming and trying to find other peoples ideas to go by hard. I don’t use photoshop so can’t really edit anything to any great detail ie to make my own header etc, unless someone else has any other ideas.

    However, I do things from most of the assignments most of the time as I’ve 3 blogs. One blog im making a mood music category section. On this blog I am trying to work out where I am going. On my livingineaastsheen.co.uk blog I just finally published a post on a Community Event, I covered it last Friday and have been editing, re editing since & was very nervous as never done anything like that before & wanted to get it right, the zerotohero has really helped me on that post to try and edit the graphics to look better, so thank you :-)

    I was told that I need to have a separate text box linking to my Google+ account to get G+ authorship, and also have the text embedded in my about page on wordpress. Apparently, this is because I don’t have an email linked to a domain? Is this correct? It looks really rubbish having it in my sidebar, especially now I have the google+ button on the about.me widget.

    I can help you out. First off, have you read this:

    It may do what you are looking for.

    @timethief

    I gotta win once in a while don’t I?

    :)

    Oh I don`t know about that but go for it … still laughing.

    I started this assignment trying to catch up. I groaned when I saw the two-parter.

    But thanks to the marvels of modern procrastination earlier in the day, I realized I had already all but completed the assignment.

    I’ve been doing a bunch of all of todays suggestions. Looking at the reader, commenting on peoples blogs and on my facebook/twitter/pinterest accounts. I didn’t go back and re-work a post, but I did re-do a draft. Does that count? It’s one I’ve spent a lot of time on, trying to figure out how to get all the stuff in it to work right. I think it turned out pretty good in the end result.

    @michelleweber
    thanks for the answer and the links :)
    I already played with the themes, but till now I didn’t find the “perfect” one. My question was: if I get the update once (playing with the colors and fonts, isn’t it?) than, I do this with every theme? Or do I have to buy the upgrade again if I change the theme and want to customize it?
    Thanks…

  • Unknown's avatar

    @ima9inarium, no, you don’t have to buy it again if you change themes (although you will have to customize the new theme to get it to your liking). The Custom Design upgrade is attached to your account, not any particular theme.
