Zero to Hero: Day Two

As you will see, my blog title needs a make-over, my about isn’t really about the blog, and I’m way too wordy to write a one or two sentence about a blog that never really knows where it’s going.
Suggestions/advice gratefully accepted — hheellpp!! -
I like the name of my blog but never did anything with the tag line, so thank you for the prompt here!

I also did a post with a little explanation. -
I am happy with the title of my blog, so I used this as an opportunity to update my tagline. My first tagline was “Fiction by Harvey Morrison” which is no longer a valid description of the blog as I have branched into non fiction pieces and book reviews.
I also added a text widget describing the blog. I tried to do some basic HTML formatting on the text widget but I couldn’t get it to work. I am pretty sure I had the code right, but the bold formatting and link I tried to insert weren’t showing up. Help anyone?

I’ve been using “mae_dictionary” as a play on my name (first name is Mae(gan), last name Webster… like the dictionary) for pretty much all of my blogs/twitter/etc for a while now, but I didn’t really like it for my title, how is “Mae’s Musings”?
I switched around some of my posts, add some pages and tried to make it all cohesive, does anybody have any tips on what I should change or do better? Please and thank you!

Interesting challenge for today. If you go to my blog you will see that I didn’t change the name “Schizo Incognito” because I really put a lot of thought into it. I did switch up the tagline and added a “about me” box in the sidebar.
Please take a look with a critical eye and leave some comments either here or on my blog under the post for today where I went into greater details about the changes to my blog.

For my part I decided to change my Blog’s Name, but not my tagline I also played around with widgets a lot, so my blog kind of resembles an actual blog. I didn’t write a post about it yet; i may do so later.

I have to say I’m loving this challenge. I’ve been blogging for about a year and a half now and even though I’m starting with a clean and fresh blog for this new year and this challenge. I’m doing things with this one just starting out that in the time I’ve been blogging with my other one I hadn’t even considered.
I got the name I wanted when I started a new blog but with today’s challenge it had me thinking that I am making more then just a blog. I’m making The Ellieverse.
Thanks for the challenge wordpress! I cant wait to see what the end result will be seeing as in my eyes im already surpassing the blog I had before… and it’s only day two!~

I’m a newbie and have only been doing this since September. Thanks to you, I’ve learned more in two days than in the last few months.
The intro post yesterday was fun to write and I’ve had a blast messing with my widgets and getting a little more tech savvy today.
Keep it coming! I’m like a kid in a candy store…just ready to eat it all up! -

Now that I read what you all have to say, I think that I need to update my widget at the very least to make more sense of my title and tag line. Please let me know what makes sense to you (and what doesn’t!)
