Zip file

Yesterday I purchased the Opti theme, had trouble going through the purchasing process (because it kept taking me in circles), but seem to have succeeded. Now the person who is helping me says she needs a zip file so she can build the site, thought that was to come to me automatically. How do I get a zip file sent to me?
By the way, your support pages are the WORST I’ve ever seen, sending me in endless loops trying to get an answer to a question that doesn’t show up in your pre-suggested question list. I’m close to canceling my order.

I’m really sorry to hear that you had trouble. Regarding the zip file, themes purchased at WordPress.com cannot be downloaded in the form of a zip file. They can only be customized through WordPress.com. On the other hand, the self-hosted version of these themes can be downloaded. That would be a separate purchase directly from the theme author here:

To recap:
- There are two versions of the Opti theme. One for self-hosted sites, and one for WordPress.com sites.
- The WordPress.com version of the theme (the one you purchased) cannot be downloaded as a zip file. Style customizations can be made through CSS as explained here:
- The WordPress.org version of the theme can be downloaded through a separate purchase here:

However, you cannot then upload the theme to WordPress.com.
