Zip files can't be uploaded. Why ?

  Hi,

  Why it is not poosbile to add Zip or 7z files to Media Library. It is just a simple arhcieve files. I want to share source code. The only message I receive, when try to upload zip or 7z file – is – Error uploading files…. No information messages.

  We can’t allow these types of files here for security reasons as they can be used to distribute malware and other such not-so-nice stuff.

  So what is you suggest, how to share a code ? Like images or Office document?

  P.S. By code I mean, Complete Project solution.

  You could use a PDF, or even the Source Code shortcode.

  Again, I’m asking about complete solution. Visual Studio solution with project. All classes, config files, settings, references. And so on.

  Using PDF ? Or paste everything like in solution. Who will need it ?

  I’m afraid there’s no automatic solution for that amount of code. You can certainly link to an externally hosted .zip file, however.
