ZML backup file problems

  Hello,
  I’m trying to do a backup but the export site function is not working properly; it’s generating 0kb files. Tried it with several browsers, all 0kb. I need the xml file to go to a WordPress blog under a new URL. Can you help me generate the backup file please.
