ZoHo email and how to point my email to my @gmail account?
-
I have registered with ZoHo for free email: (email visible only to moderators and staff)
I would now like to have any emails sent to that email address POINTED to wherever it needs to go so that it will arrive in my Outlook Inbox?
What steps do I take next?
Do I need to Proceed to point MX? https://mail.zoho.com/biz/verify.do
Also, your own instructions regards DNS records have a discrepancy at points 10. and 11. Point 10 says to past the code after the CNAME line and point 11 shows it posted before.
It’s very confusing to a beginner like me :)
Please help – thanks. -
It seems you’ve already added the MX records at https://thecountryphiles.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=domains&action=dnsedit&domain=thecountryphiles.com
Is e-mail working for you now?

Have you followed the exact same steps mentioned on http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/add-email/add-email-through-zoho-mail/ ? Those instructions should help you to properly set up your ZoHo email.

Hello,
Yes, I have followed them exactly. Although can you confirm that the MX code sits ‘above’ OR ‘below’ the CNAME line. The support notes are conflicting.
If I/you sends an email to (email visible only to moderators and staff) I DO NOT GET the email – where does it go?
Why is this? Is there another step to send it on to me at (email visible only to moderators and staff)? Do I have to also configure my Outlook?
Please help!
Thank you -
The MX records are correctly set now. Have you set the e-mail address correctly at ZoHo Mail? Otherwise contact them for further assistance.
If you want you can also use Google Apps instead. To set up your own email address with the custom domain through Google Apps, please follow the instructions here.
If you get stuck, feel free to reply back!
