Zone Alarm problem with Security Certificate
-
Every time I enter my site as a member of the public, without logging in, I receive a dire warning from my Zone Alarm virus software. It says “Don’t enter anything on this website or download anything unless you trust this website”. When I click for further details it says this warning is based on (1) how long the site has been up, and (2) weak security certificate. I am concerned that visitors to my site will turn away when they see this warning. Other threads dealing with “security certificate” do not seem to reach this particular scenario. How to fix this problem, not for me, but for my public visitors?

Hi. Are you visiting your site with an http or https prefix? If you are using https, try http.

I agree with airodyssey’s advice. How do I get those annoying security warnings to go away?

Problem remains unresolved. What I need is to hear from somebody on how to fix a “weak security certificate”? Do we have any control over that? Or is this something only WordPress staff can control?

Have you whitelised .wordpress.com in your security program? I suggest you contact zone alarm Staff and request instructions for doing that from them.
