Zone file for .no domain
-
I get the message from my registrar that you need to create a correct Zone file for saftkrukka.no on all name servers (ns1, ns2, ns3).
For .no domains the name servers need to be set up to respond correctly before I can change the name servers.
The blog I need help with is saftkrukka.wordpress.com.
Can someone help me with this, please?

In a related forum post, WordPress.com staff stepped in to assist. I’ve tagged this thread for their attention.

If the domain extension you want to use is not available for registration on WordPress.com https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#available-domains, you can register elsewhere and add it to your WordPress.com blog using Domain Mapping.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/Staff can add a zone record for you so you can map to an existing domain and that’s why I added that tag to the sidebar as well.

@barneteater
I have created a zone record for saftkrukka.no. So you should be good to go.
Let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

Thank you. I still struggle.
I was able to set up the name servers, ns1.wordpress.com + ns2 and ns3. When I, a day later, try to map saftkrukka.no on WP, I get the following message: “Sorry but saftkrukka.no has not been registered yet therefore cannot be mapped.” I have owned that domain for about 6 years, so it is registered…How do I solve this? I have mapped two other .no domains earlier, but don’t remember if I did something different then.

I am going to send you an email to the address associated with your WordPress.com account. Please let me know if you do not receive it.

Thank you. Nothing received so far. I receive the notifications about this topic thread in my e-mail, though.
