Hello, I am trying to map my ‘.br’ (Brazil) domain vilaflores.org.br but it is not working… The registrar’s website doesn’t recognize the DNSs… I read in the domain mapping instruction page that you may have to do something regarding ‘.br’ before it gets mapped… could you pls set it up? Thanks!

There is no domain mapping upgrade for vilaflores.org.br is not registered yet. The domain extension you want to use is not available for registration on WordPress.com, you can register elsewhere first and then add it to your WordPress.com blog using Domain Mapping.

Thanks! Actually i already registered the domain in a brazilian website, but it’s not accepting the DNS.
I’ve been told that i need a support from wordpress to allow this. -

Hi there,
I just added a zone record for your domain vilaflores.org.br, so your domain registrar can update your domain’s name servers. You can continue following the steps in our guide to Use a Domain You Already Own (Domain Mapping) to map that domain to your site.
