Zoom video integration

Can I post Zoom videos on a WordPress Premium page? Can I livestream them?

  • When uploading video to a site on WordPress.com you do need a premium plan. Here are the video file types supported:

MP4 (.mp4, .m4v), QuickTime movies (.mov), Windows Media Video (.wmv), Audio Video Interleave (.avi), MPEG (.mpg), Ogg (.ogv), 3GPP (.3gp) and 3GPP2 (.3g2).

That came from the FAQ section at the bottom of this video support guide: https://wordpress.com/support/videopress/

This means if you are able to export your Zoom videos as any of those above file types, you can upload and display them on a site using the premium plan.

Now, about live streaming. WordPress.com offers the ability to “embed” videos hosted through other services on any site using a free, personal, or premium plan.

Here are the supported embed options: https://wordpress.com/support/videos/

For embedding a live stream, pay close attention to the Ustream.TV and YouTube links on that page. They both offer live stream options in each of the setup guides linked on that page.
