Zuki Theme: Blog Posts on Category Pages

  I’d like my blog posts to show rich text when on the category pages — like they do on the ‘latest posts’ page. As of now, they do not. Excerpts are also plain text. Can we resolve this so the posts show formatting when on a category page? Thank you.

  Lucy, I’ve looked into this, and on my test site when set up with Zuki, the excepts are showing on category and tags pages, so I’m not sure what is going on. I’m going to file a bug report on this and let the developers dig into this. Hopefully it will be sorted out shortly.

  Hi there,

  I’m the theme author, Ellen. I’m so sorry for not getting back to you regarding the issue earlier. I tried to find the bug within the theme, but I just could not recreate the issue.

  The only thing I can think of right now is to test, if maybe there is a blank space in the custom excerpt field in the posts?

  @ timethief: Could you maybe check on one example post, if you have any empty spaces in your custom excerpt box or alternatively could you write some test content in a custom excerpt field and see, if this text shows up? Please let me know about the results, so that I can help you further.

  Hi Ellen!

  Yes, I added blank text in the excerpt as a work around — to make people click on the title to view the post.

  The problem is here:

  If you view a post on a category page it is not in rich text
  http://lucyfromla.com/category/who/

  but if you view the same post on it’s own page, it is:
  http://lucyfromla.com/2015/06/02/sarah-gibson-tuttle/

  I would like the full post (with formatting) to show on the category page.

  Is that possible?
