Usually this error message is because of an expired (or broken) login auth cookie stored on your local web browser. It looks like you are using Google Chrome as your browser, so with this in mind I would like you to try the following
– clear your cache and cookies based on the steps google recommends here: https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050
– Also make sure you are not blocking any “3rd party cookies” as explained in that guide as well.
– If you continue to have loading issues after completing those steps, I would like you to try another browser instead, like Firefox. Are you able to proceed if you use a browser other than Chrome?Thanks for the additional info!

I noticed that you are an author on one site, and I wonder if that’s the one you’re working on. Could you confirm the address of the site where you saw this error? If it’s not a browser issue, it would mean that you, in fact, have no permission to change the categories.

I created it 10 years ago and every 4 or 5 days I upload a post.
Probably the problem is due to:
1] WordPress is connected to the old Google+
2] recently someone hacked my account in Google and stole my youtube channel.
I do not know what is happening.
Maybe it also has to do with the recent changes in wordpress because I can change the side plugins with GREAT DIFFICULTY [too many clicks in hiden boxes]. I could assume that the company is oriented towards mobile phones and tablets and so it is difficult to operate on a desktop computer. Paying professionals have no problem as they may have free sites. -
This has nothing to do with who has access to your Google account, no. It has to do with authorisation cookies in your browser, as my colleague explained above.
Please clear your browser cache and cookies, and see if that makes any difference.

I cleared cash and cookies and it seems that the problem is solved.
The strange thing is that today the page I was trying to change yesterday, today appears changed before the cleaning!
I hope that the problem will not appear again. For “good or bad” I will do some tests.
