  I looked at your Media Library and do not see an image at 400 x 150. Can you upload that to your Media Library, but do not insert it into your site, and then let me know and I’ll see what I can do for you.

  .site-header-ad {
  	float: left;
  	text-align: left
  }
  .site-title.grid-5 {
  	text-align: right;
  	float: right;
  }

  To reduce the top and bottom padding, add the following.

  .site-header-ad img {
  	padding-top: 0;
  	padding-bottom: 0;
  }
  .site-header-ad {
  	padding-top: 10px;
  	padding-bottom: 10px;
  }

  You can adjust the 10px values to reduce it more if you wish.

  Change your

  form#searchform {
  	display:none
  }

  into this instead

  #masthead .site-search {
  	display:none;
  }

  which gets rid of the search parent element and reduces the space between the content and widgets and the header.
