Bio
Radio presenter/DJ, my show is called The Happening, it is an eclectic mix of music genres including Soul, Jazz, Jazz Funk, Sophisticated Standards, Gospel, NuJazz, NuGospel, NuDisco, Blues, RnB, Reggae/Ska, Soca, Calypso, Zydeco and more.
I post my shows and mixes to www.mixcloud.com then a few days later I write a blog about the artists and music featured. I incorporate notes on music and social history from other writers as well as my own views.
I am passionate about music. I read about music & watch films and documentaries too. I love to explore what makes a musician tick together with their cultural/socio-historical roots, and other influences which contribute to their development as musicians, singers, composers and DJ's.

I also make brief comments about music in general plus sharing updates/announcements about artists and musicians, together with information about any gigs or events which I am currently involved in or supporting.
