--Winner of THE NEGRO ENSEMBLE COMPANY'S "ASPIRING PLAYWRIGHT AWARD/2006" for a play entitled: FRIENDS THROUGH THICK & THIN, a tragic-comedy about the obesity problem.
--Author of TEMPORARY INSANITY, a book of poems about surviving divorce, and other bumps in the road.
--a SONG WRITER, PERFORMANCE ARTISTS, COMEDIAN. Composed "TELL ALL THE CHILDREN OUR STORY" which is used as a theme for the annual African American Festival at Gateway College, and many other songs.
--Won "VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR" AWARD from the Southern CT Gas Company, and
regularly volunteers to sing for Senior Citizens homes, and hospitals during holidays.
--President of WIBO Alumni Bridgeport 2005-2007(Workshop in Business Opportunities).
