Bio
34 years of computer experience. Hand built my first computer in 1973 from parts and plans a friend purloined from the {CENSORED}. Had to learn to program it with front panel switches to get it to work serially with a teletype. Though my Doctorate is in Electrical Engineering, I've worked exclusively with computers ever since.
I am a System Admin, certified with MS and Solaris, also fully able with Linux, BSD and things that have long since vanished.
Programmer skilled in dozens of languages, some no longer in use, others very commonly used from assembly and various C types to Scripting languages such as Python, Perl, PHP and others.
Can repair all computer hardware and have been active in hardware design.
