Bio
The Accelerate Academic Support (ACAS) program is the brainchild of founder Louis Thomas who has obtained a MSc degree in Psychological Approaches (MSc PAHM) from the University of Bedfordshire in England, after completing a degree from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. Louis is an academic who has taught abroad and has been in the academic arena since 2003. Also, during this time, he has travelled extensively and draws upon various models in his approach to providing academic support. Experience gained from working at school level and tertiary institutions both in South Africa and abroad has served to refine the development of a bespoke approach to supporting project or assignment work for learners, scholars and students. The entire ACAS. facilitator Team is equipped to support academic progress up to university graduate level with strengths in language and writing, research methods, meta-analyses, study skills (Karmichael Education), tutoring and remedial support.
