Bio
I have a family member who is wheelchair bound, and we enjoy going out or dining out when and where we can. We have been disappointed when we find that a restaurant or business does not allow true access for a wheelchair, even if the door sign says they are a handicap accessible facility. We thought we would go to different businesses and restaurants and evaluate them in areas that impact the wheelchair bound individual. Signs say facilities are ADA compliant and handicap accessible, but what is it really like for a person in a wheelchair? Also, topics or issues that impact handicapped individuals will be discussed.
