Bio
New to blogging but I've been writing professionally, as a ghostwriter and grant writer, between 1993-2003. Grant writing has put me on the Board of a number of non-profits and governmental committees over the years. The most fun of which was for a community theater where I learned every aspect of scenery (set) construction and production of a live event.
My background strays little from the focus of my studies of architecture, languages, politics, and economics. Alumni of SUNY Fredonia (but attended several other colleges in pursuit of lifelong learning). I'm fluent in English (but Spanish, French, Italian, and German aren't compete gibberish for me).
Professionally, I'm usually self-described as a writer, architectural designer, or a political economist; depending on my mood, my audience, and what I happen to be mostly doing at the time.
I like to backpack travel (mostly Europe), cycle, and live a life of simple self-sufficiency (and all the things that may entail). I believe in life-long learning and the striving for wisdom.
