Bio
Retired, with a wife who should be a perfect entry for the old Can't Cook, Won't Cook TV program. Actually that's not fair. She often offers, but past experience of her timing means that we get the potatoes half an hour before the meat and veg 20 minutes after that. So I do all the cooking, shopping and generally choose what is the best selection for healthy eating over the coming week.
When the first lock down started I tried to keep stocks at a reasonable level, using some then replacing them if we liked the result of the recipe conjured up. I kept the hand written recipe and eventually thought why not share my experiments with others who were likely to have similar store items. I have always poo-pooed social web sites etc, having worked in the computer area for many years but have found this quite therapeutic, if a trifle frustrating when it doesn't work as I want it to. Still here it is for what it is worth. I hope it is helpful to somebody..
