Who am I?
On some levels, that’s a very easy question to answer.
I’m a husband and father.
I’m a tech geek.
I’m a Cubs fan.
My favorite movie is Groundhog Day.
But on a deeper level, I’m more than what I do or like. I’m more than my relationships. In the end, I exist today because God loves me and chose to call me his son. If it were not for that single fact, I would very likely be dead. My natural state is destructive and selfish. Without God, I would be nothing. I don’t always live like that’s true. I’m still pretty messed up.
I am, however, slowly becoming someone else.
