Bio
Have you ever been nervous to introduce yourself? Be it to someone new, a prospective employer, a date, when they ask you "so tell me about yourself", or "how would you describe yourself?" Where do you begin? For each scenario there is a set expectation, or its context can help you fulfill those questions adequately; to someone new at a bar you may say your name, occupation and what may have brought you to that particular setting as an icebreaker "I just wrote my midterm exams and came here to relax." For an employer of course this would be an opportunity for you to humbly brag about yourself in order to implicitly state why you would make the perfect junior researcher at their think tank organisation, "on Saturdays I volunteer at a charity which bridges the early childhood learning gap in Botswana, it's these grass-root level organisations which tackle overlooked societal problems such as education that I find to have the greatest impact,” – I’m sure you now know what I’m getting at here. How shall I introduce myself to you? I will settle for letting you all make your own judgements from my posts.
