Bio
Hi!
I am the Casting Director for the 2015 Adrenaline Film Project in Eugene, OR. This is my third year in a row as Casting Director and 5th year in a row being involved in AFP in some way (the first year I was a coordinator, and the second year I was the director on the first all-women team to compete in AFP... and btw, our film won the Audience Award).
I am a filmmaker, screenwriter, and stopmotion animator with Brainchildz, a local video production company, and the Casting Director at IRIS Educational Media.
I love the Adrenaline Film Project because it is an incredibly valuable learning experience for filmmakers and actors alike, and it provides a super fun and intensive way to really immerse yourself in the filmmaking process. For aspiring filmmakers and screen actors, this is priceless!
As Casting Director, I help recruit actors, I put together a database of actors that is then made available to the filmmakers when AFP begins, and I help filmmakers make casting decisions once their scripts are complete and they are ready to begin shooting, even when that means finding actors who aren't already in the talent database. I am the contact person for all actors involved should they have questions or concerns. I also help the filmmakers locate resources, interface with actors, and may occasionally even jump in and act in one of the films if an actor doesn't work out!
