Bio
Alison Bass is an Assistant Professor of Journalism in the Reed College of Media at West Virginia University. She is the author of the forthcoming book, Getting Screwed: Sex Work and the Law (Fall 2015), and of Side Effects: A Prosecutor, a Whistleblower and a Bestselling Antidepressant on Trial, which won the National Association of Science Writers' Science in Society Award in 2009.
