Bio
Rebecca completed her Higher School Certificate (HSC) in 2004 with an ATAR equivalent (then called a UAI) of 97.9, placing her well within the top 3% of students. She also achieved the NSW Premier’s all-rounders status as a result of getting band 6 (a mark of 90% or more) for all six of her subjects.
Following this, Rebecca was offered a double degree scholarship at the University of Wollongong, a scholarship that is only offered to two students each year. She completed a psychology and commerce double degree with Distinction in 2010.
In 2011 Rebecca commenced work within the Commonwealth Bank of Australia graduate program. From the graduate program, Rebecca was offered a full time position within the Equities and Margin Lending division of the Bank. Now, as a Strategy and Operations analyst she works closely with the Risk, Operations, Finance, Strategy and Legal communities, with duties that include presenting to leadership teams, managing multiple stakeholder relationships across retail and business banking and aiding in the direct execution of organisational strategy. High quality deliverables are expected and delivered without exception.
In starting the Academic and Life Skills (ALS) Institute, Rebecca is pursuing another passion that stems from her Psychology and Business background- adolescent education and development. Relating to her students with ease, Rebecca imparts the lessons she has learnt throughout her studies and career, whilst inspiring action and dedication in her students. Students leave ALS Institute with a competitive edge that not only sets them apart going into university but remains as they enter the workforce and embark on their career.
