Bio
I have always loved to write, and have found that writing is the most effective means for me to convey information that I am passionate about, and to make a difference. My blog is about bringing awareness, education, and information to parents about a subject that is of utmost concern today that can adversely affect the well-being of our children and youth - and in turn - society. It is also a subject that I have experienced and seen first-hand. The subject is Depression. I hope that my blog will become a valuable resource for parents.
My experience and academic credentials include a B.A. degree in Community Health Education and an A.A.S. degree in Health Care Administration. I have ten years of experience working in various capacities in the healthcare field, and I currently work for the Illinois Head Start program.
