Bio
I’m Ambivalent Dad, a 37 year old father and husband rising to the daily challenges of life, by doing the right thing, living by my terms of success and being the man my daughter and wife need me to be.
I want to share my experiences with you, all the other Ambivalent Dads.
This is my accountability journal. A step by step account of what I experience and learn. The ups and downs, the twists and turns, and most importantly the truths, principles and insights I gain from it all. My objective is to be brutally honest at the expense of my ego in hopes that my writings provide clarity to me and others. I hope they are real. Then I hope they are fun, practical, and enlightening.
Being a father requires sacrifice and I don’t like to sacrifice my many passions, interests, and dreams. And I’m not, for the sake of me and my family.
By not running or hiding from my responsibilities I’m discovering more passion, freedom and more energy. Through facing the crippling fears I hold deep inside me since from when I was a child, I am reclaiming my masculinity from the feminized world of modern America.
