Anaïs Masih is a Fitness Coach and Certified Personal Trainer & Nutrition Specialist with the American Council on Exercise - ACE and a Precision Nutrition ProCoach. As technology has evolved, so too has the field of personal training. With the ability to connect with individuals around the world with just a click of a button, Anaïs is a self-employed personal trainer offering an assortment of online training solutions including but not limited to: pre-designed workout plans, customized fitness programs and virtual training sessions via video-based platforms.
She is prepared to strategize a function-health-fitness-performance continuum program that first reestablishes proper function, improves health, then develops and advances fitness and enhances performance for clients across various geographic locations. Each client will have different needs based on his or her personal health, fitness, and goals. Each client will start his or her exercise program at a unique point along the continuum.
The first component of this continuum, which includes individuals who need to focus on improving functional activities related to daily living before they can safely engage in moderate-intensity physical activities to improve overall health, includes activities such as stability/mobility and balance training, which might need to be addressed prior to engaging in routine physical activities or structured exercise programs.
The second component of the model is exercise for improved health, which serves as a critical element of every exercise program.
For a client who has been sedentary improved function and health should be a primary program goal.
Throughout this continuum, programs will progress at a rate that is safe and effective.
