I have refined tastes but am relatively poor.
I sustained a life-changing injury in 1984. Since then I have been in recovery from my Traumatic Brain Injury. I still have problems; I will never be "just like my old self." I am a New Self now. I reinvent myself once a month if not every day.
I try to define my self with criteria other than my problems or my disabilities .... that is hard to do in this world, however.
