Through shamanic practice and a deep connection to the spirit world, I have found a way to heal and transform past experiences into a source of empowerment and inspiration. These experiences have shaped my worldview and led me to explore the depths of the human soul and power of nature. My art incorporates symbols and imagery that have become apparent throughout my journey, revealing beauty and growth in the midst of pain.
Shamanic practice influences my artistic process as I tap into the unseen world and connect with spiritual beings whilst channelling energy into my creations. The art serves as a bridge between physical and spiritual realms, inviting viewers to connect with their inner wisdom and intuition. My exploration of magic, myth and the spirit world play a significant role in my artistic expression. The mystical aspect of my work offers a sense of wonder and enchantment, inviting viewers to explore the mystery and interconnectedness of all things for themselves.
As a gay woman, my art explores themes of love, identity and empowerment expressed through the divine feminine. It celebrates sovereignty and spirit of women loving women, showcasing grace, beauty, strength and resilience. I sense that women embracing their inner feminine and masculine identity are ideally placed to share with humanity the most powerful and yet tender sacred love. This is the embodiment of divine unity.
Animals often play a significant role in my art, symbolizing connection to the earth, intuition, and the wild, primal aspects of the self. My psychic connection with animals further adds a sense of compassion and empathy to my work, highlighting the importance of honouring all living beings.
