Bio
Andy Trieu is an Asian – Australian Actor, Martial Artist and Presenter. He is a 3 time Australian Champion Martial Artist trained by former coach of the national team of China Jin Ju Liu (22 International Titles, competed alongside Actor Jet Li).
Andy made his debut acting role as a lead on the show Crime Investigations (CHANNEL 9) and he went on to play TV roles on Gangs of OZ, Rescue Special Ops, “What’s good for you” and new action series from the producers of Star Wars, Resistance. Furthermore he is set to play a role in the International Tony Ayres production Shanghai Lady Killers which also involves highly acclaimed director Anthony Szeto (WUSHU – produced by Jackie Chan)
Andy is currently working for producers at Templar Films (FAT PIZZA, CEDAR BOYS) and is working with LA based Actor Anthony Brandon Wong (THE MATRIX, RELOADED, REVOLUTIONS) on acting techniques (IVANA CHUBBACK) .
He loves doing Kung Fu, Lion Dancing, basketball, Yoga, Public Speaking, and eating 2 minute noodles, which he is highly addicted to.
Moreover, Andy’s Martial Arts training has led him to work on projects with performers and trainers from WOLVERINE, SUPERMAN, STAR WARS I, II, III, AUSTRALIA, and THE MATRIX.
Aside from his creative side he holds a double degree in International Relations and Business (Australian National University) and completed 3 years acting study with Bobby Farquhar (National Acting School). His career highlights as far include an International Action on Film Nomination (US), Australian of the year Nomination, and being a contender for Disney’s Power Rangers.
