About Animal Rescue Support International (A.R.S.I.)
Formed in 2010, Animal Rescue Support International (A.R.S.I.) is an organization of volunteers that travel internationally to regions having high stray (street) domestic animal populations for 3 or more months at a time to provide aid to local animal rescues and sanctuaries serving those regions. A.R.S.I. donates much needed equipment and supplies to the rescues and then A.R.S.I.'s Licensed Veterinary Volunteers, assisted by A.R.S.I.’s certified Vet Tech Volunteers perform veterinary services such as spay/neuter procedures, immunizations, parasite & dermatological treatments, and basic veterinary care for the street animals while other A.R.S.I. Volunteers who specialize in daily animal care, grooming, emergency response, street work and public education, office and administrative work, and maintenance and construction do work at the rescues and throughout the region. Animal Rescue Support International volunteers are skilled, caring professionals that are passionate about the work that they do. A.R.S.I. Volunteers come from all walks of life and each volunteer has a different specialty, trade, skill or vocation. Animal Rescue Support international operates solely on private donations, online crowd-funding and funds collected by independent fundraisers.
