For over 30 years, Anita Woolfolk Hoy has been immersed in the preparation of teachers. Her early work led her to write a textbook that would make the findings of educational psychology accessible and useful for teachers. As that text moves into its 10th edition, it continues to be the most widely read introduction to the discipline.
Activities and Awards: Distinguished Research Award, Rutgers Graduate School of Education; Vice- President of the American Educational Research Association for Division K (Teaching & Teacher Education); President of the Division of Educational Psychology of the American Psychological Association; Fellow of the American Psychological Association; served as program chair for APA Division 15, AERA Divisions K and C.
