Bio
I'm one of those "older women" cringe at the description but there it is!! I enjoy reading and learning about anything and everything especially if I think that people are deliberately keeping information from me ! I love to connect people who have the same interests and goals. I am a Christian- raised Mennonite(you need to know that in order to understand some of the things I say) currently member of a Presbyterian Church of America. I didnt know I was more of a Calvinist than a Anabaptist until I joined the Presbyterians. I had a very different raising than most of those I grew up with. My dad had the philosophy of " Speak up for what you believe in even if those around you disagree" while my mother's was " Don't say THAT you will offend them". My philosophy has combined the two although I always havent been successful and that is " If you and I have totally disagreed on a topic/belief then I wont try to convince you of the "error of your ways" BUT I will listen to how you came to that conclusion." However like my dad I do enjoy a good argument to find holes in my thinking. as long as its picking at the argument and not personal attacks. I welcome discussion here but dont accept name calling or attacking the individual.
