Our Concept
Who we are:
AREWA Folusho means "Beautiful Divine Care" The label and it's name (partly) were inspired October 2016 through a woman I respect, cherish so much, I call her "KEMI" my personal muse.
The name itself is African from the Yoruba tribe. Women in Africa wear head gear and most importantly on special occasions. They adorn their heads with their head wraps, it is seen as a crown.
Our Mission:
AREWA Foluho is based in Lower Saxony, German.y. Items are hand-crafted with taste, love and absolute devotion.They are to portray, adorn divinity in every bold woman, it is a journey to femininity. Our mission is multi-cultivated to create a label that produce unique items of luxury, hand-picked vibrant fabrics and more. They originate from different countries and continents, and most especially from Africa.

What we do:
AREWA Folusho conveys the message "Back To The Root". Africa is my personal heritage, my root and I'm so ready to be wholly connected to it, united with it. My name is Olanike, the face behind this label. I'm a daughter, a sister, a wife and a mom to 3 wonderful chidren.
My journey began 2011 when I stopped relaxing my kinky, curly African hair. I became a proud Naturalista, later I progressed, by rejecting harmful, chemical-packed products on my hair and skin, I started buying natural products, some are from black owned lines, and black entrepreneurs. Some of these products include; my make up, my skin products, my hair products etc. This journey has apparently and gradually brought me to this, creating my own line. A lot of bold women of colour like me in Germany are missing out in so many things if compared to our counterparts in London, Paris or in the USA so I felt compelled to bridge this gap in the German market. I'd love to bless others through my journey.
AREWA Folusho offers head wraps and more, mostly in bold, vibrant colors. We create and make statements. We will add some other items to our products in the nearest future.
AREWA Folusho plans to support and promote local entrepreneurs, to partner with different wholesalers for it's raw-initial products, because we believe in sustainable marketing and development. We have this strong opinion that we all can make the world a better place. We have to be determined to make this our main priority. With our individual decisions we can affect the world we live in positively or the other way round, we believe we should try as much as possible to contribute positively to the betterment of all humankind most importantly when considering the future of our offspring. We will serve as a medium, as an advocate of peace, love, non-discrimination. We commit to treat everyone equally much more with respect regardless of race, religion, national origin, ethnicity, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or age and without judgment or bias. We shall be featuring people, organisation, various products of interest, and the interest of our dear customers on this platform. AREWA Folusho a comprehensive effort to fight bias and discrimination in our society and at the same time promoting beauty and elegance..
