Bio

I’m Ashley Giles. I flog burgers by day, I read about African politics by night. All of that culminates in this blog. This is actually my second foray into the blogosphere, following on from a previous party political blog I used to write when I was about 13. Hopefully, this second attempt is slightly more informative and a bit less cringeworthy to read than the first! Every Sunday I publish an Africa Sundays post about a significant event on the continent in the past week. It’s occasionally analytical, but sometimes just speculative.
