Bio
Ashley was inspired to write the story of Lin and Foxy by her own experience adopting a dog who had been rescued by the Boulder Valley Humane Society. Ashley’s dog, initially a frightened, starving stray that was shot by a rancher, blossomed into a joyful companion full of zest for life.
Ashley lives in Boulder, Colorado, at the foot of the Rocky Mountains. She and her beloved dog Brandy, who closely resembles Foxy, explore the meadows and foothills together every day.
